Rosenthal to Retry Slade
Today, Harris County DA Chuck Rosenthal announced that he would retry ousted TSU President Priscilla Slade. This comes as no surprise to the Minority Report. He’s out for Priscilla’s Blood and he’s going to get it. Most likely a change of venue will be filed on this case since everyone in the city has decided whether she is innocent or guilty. As I stated yesterday, TSU will continue to suffer as long as this dark cloud hangs. GET ON WITH IT ALREADY!!!! Either give her life or like old buddy Cinque on Amistad, “Give her FREE!”

I agree….as long as they keep the negative images in the news about TSU and the past President, the public will continue to have negative imagery about Texas Southern University. Sad thing is that there are some really smart and talented students at TSU, a new Board controlling the schools issues, and many other changes that occured since all this started but most people see TSU as being this ghetto black school….another negative sterotype. I hope all this gets resolved soon so the University can grow in a postive light and the students can hold their heads high when they say they obtained their degree from Texas Southern University.
